Culinary Aspirations

Thanks for joining me!

Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

“Meals make the society, hold the fabric together in lots of ways that were charming and interesting and intoxicating to me. The perfect meal, or the best meals, occur in a context that frequently has very little to do with the food itself.”

~ Anthony Bourdain

I am Chef Miguel Demonteverde, one of the renounced chefs in the world and holding several awards including The AA Rosette, The James Beard Foundation Award, and currently a successful entrepreneur with 5 star Michelin restaurants

“I learned more from the one restaurant that didn’t work than from all the ones that were successes.”

The key to culinary success like other professionals is to have passion. You really have to love what you are doing. Being able to explore one’s self through the means of frying pans, plates, and knives is really special for an aspiring chef. Food is art and it is alive.
